Jon Hazelbaker offers consulting services to General Contractors and Engineering firms, who may require assistance in the design and pre-bid planning portions of their projects that include extensive inspection or underwater construction activities.
Hazelbaker can work as a liason between the owner(s), GC or Owners Engineer(s) and the potential dive contractor and provide assistance in designing for underwater constructability, short listing of qualified dive firms, scheduling, budgeting, project specifications, bid evaluation, submittal review as well as monitoring the work in progress.
Hazelbaker has been involved in some of the most intricate Underwater Construction projects undertaken in the Continental U.S. and can also assist Dive firms directly in assessing and solving their approach, safety requirements and implementation of their underwater construction activities. He also offers assistance in bidding and estimating, pre-construction planning and documentation, contract, change order and labor negotiations, as well as performing safety audits on personnel, procedures and all required life support equipment.
